Creative Cabbies is the idea and the creation of Mark Solomon. Mark (pictured) was born in 1973 and has been a licensed London Taxi driver since 1999.
It was also around that time that he began to take a keener interest in photography.

All the pictures currently displayed on the Creative Cabbies website have been taken by Mark.

Many of the shots were taken spontaneously, whilst his cab was temporarily stopped at red traffic lights, and others taken whilst he was in search of a fare.

Since passing the Knowledge of London, Mark has been a valued contributor to one of the taxi trades premier newspapers. And his passion for photojournalism has enabled him to travel to numerous far-flung destinations.
